The best singer on my mind

Hello, I'm the manager of the blog, Kwon Gi Young. From now, I'll share information about my favorite singer's songs with you.

My favorite singer is Lee Juck. In 2013, now, he is 39 years old, so he is not idol singer. Most students these days like Idols, like B1A4, Bigbang, etc. But I love old songs and slow songs because when I listen them, I can let my mind to relax.
 There are songs that he sang alone, but also there are a lot of songs that he sang with other artists. If I include them, there will be 20 songs that I will post. I'm gonna post it once a week, and sometimes I will publish about him(like hot issues)
  I hope this postings will be a good opportunity that you can know more about Lee Juck and his songs.

  These are some photos of Lee Juck.

Photo Essay about my trip to Yue Island

  Hello, I'm Kwon Gi Young who is the manager of this blog. There are 7 pictures that I will show you.
  The topic of pictures is about my trip to the Yue Island. On June 6th, 2013, my parents and me went to the Yue Island, because it was legal holiday in Korea. Yue Island is near the GuJae Island, which locates near Busan which is my home town. My family thought that Yue Island is the best place to go because it is not so far to go, so we decided to visit there.

  <Picture#1>
  I went to Yue Island with my parents. I took this photo at the 'cliff of wind' in the Yue Island. Like its name, it was windy there, and as you see, my father is holding his clothes.
We say it as a cliff, but it's not a cliff, so we call this 'imitation cliff'. It was too hot there, so, all of my parents put on the sunglasses.

the 'cliff of wind'. I was extremely hot
day. You can see people using parasol.

  <Picture#2>
  I also took this at the cliff of wind. There is a huge windmill. We cannot go into it, but I think it's peaceful and wonderful. Because of brown windmill, temporary I felt that I am in the rural country. It was a legal holiday that day, so there were a lot of tourists who wanted to come. At that time, my parents were not there, so you cannot see them.

What a wonderful windmill!! I was little
disappointed because there was no
shadow we can rest below there.

  <Picture#3>
  In Yue Island, there is also 'Flower Park'. I took only part of it, so actually it is a gigantic park. Look! Isn't it so beautiful? If you see carefully, you can notice that all tress have their own shape. According to our guide, a lot of professional gardeners keep there everyday, so it could keep its shape for 30 year. All flowers were fragrant.

<Picture#4>
Can you see enormous people in the left side of picture? Because of the long line, we couldn't see beautiful flowers in detail, but we enjoyed it. In this picture, you can see the narrow way with flowers. We wanted to go there, but we are not gardener, so we couldn't walk there.

sorry... I couldn't find exact picture
and I will check and republish it.

  <Picture#5>
  This picture is from a boat, then I took the picture of rock near the Yue Island. There are
a lot of group of stones and rocks, but, the boat was so fast, so this is the only picture of it. I'm so sorry to fail to show you the picture.

  <Picture#6>
  Not only Yue Island, it was package tour,k so we also went to the 'war museum'(I can't remember it's name.). There were some buildings which reenacted the Korean War. It was very huge and old building.

  <The Last Picture>
  From 6 A.M to 5 P.M, my parents and I visited Yue Island and War Museum. I think it was good and precise experience and I felt joyful. So I want to go to there again and also I recommend you to visit there. It was fantastic experience!!

Have a good day~!^^

My Persuasive Writing

Dear all PAs and TAs in GLPS

I'm writing this letter because I believe that we should use Korean in the cafeteria, and stop getting EOP in cafeteria.
 Many experts like Dr. Kim Yung Jin, for example agree with me and my claim. THen, I'll explain reasons for this and give facts to support my opinion.

  The first reason is because we, GLPS students have to pay attention to EOP even we are having a meal. Although EOP is obviously a rule, but because of that, we have to use unfamiliar language anywhere, and anytime. We use English in class, in hallway, in dormitory, and even in the cafeteria. We are thinking and keeping this because it's our promise, however, I request you(PAs) to change that rule littel bit.
  The second reason is because by using a few Korean in cafeteria, we can improve our friendship. There are my friends' opinion to show this is true. Actually, shat I'm saying is related to our language skill. In Korean, we can share our opinion freely because it's 'convenient'. But, in English, it's too hard to express our mind(especially like us who has no experience in other countries.). In fact, GLPS divided classes from class 1 to class 20, right? Surely, high lever classes' students like 8~10 or 18~20 is convenient to speak English because almost they went abroad before. But, lower level classes' students are not convenient, so almost EOP papers are in that classes. I don't mean it's unfair, but, please consider like us who are not good at speaking English.
  The third and final reason is because extreme stress can cause disease(Surely, I'm saying this because I'm suffered from EOP). According to Dr. Kim Yung Jin, stress can cause diseases like headache, stomachache, and vomiting, which are symptoms of stress. Also, he said that if the stress stays for a long time,it can cause lack of studying, and depression. You don't want us to be lazy for studying because of lack of studying, right? So, it will be better to let us use Korean in the cafeteria to reduce our stress.

  As you can see three reasons, you have to allow us to use Korean in the cafeteria(except abusive language) freely. Based on my argument and reasons, 'stress', 'friendship', and my opinion, I hope you PAs will consider my point of view carefully and change the rule about EOP as soon as possible. I really beg to you. If you have reasons that you cannot consider my opinion, please e-mail me.(giyoung123@naver.com)

                                                                                                                  Sincerely,
                                                                                                                  Kwon Gi Young

My Creative Writing

<Beautiful Baseball>

In 2003, there were two high school baseball players in Korea Minjok Leadership Academy. One student, Dong yeol(18) was the most famous hitter and the strongest hitter on the ground. Other student, Jong Bum(18) was the greatest pitcher on the ground. They went to the same school, and they both liked baseball, so they became the best friends. Because of them, their baseball team, 'Minjok' could win the all competitions for 3 years. One day, Dong yeol waid to Jong Bum,   "We are friends, aren't we?"  Then Jong Bum said,   "Of course."  "Are you sure that you will forget me if I go away?" said Dong yeol.  "Sure. But why are you talking like that?" asked Jong Bum.  "Nothing." said Dong yeol.  Jong Bum thought that Dong yeol's telling was strange, but he just forgot about that. Tomorrow, Jong Bum went to school to meet Dong yeol and he wanted to practice with him. Dong yeol used to come to school late, so Jong Bum didn't worry about the time. But, after 1st period bell rang, he noticed that Dong yeol transferred to other school. He always wanted to go abroad and learn about baseball more in detail, so Dong yeol went to America. Jong Bum was so sad, then he didn't do his best while playing game.  After 10 years, Dong yeol already became the best pitcher in Major League, and he came back to Korea. As soon as he arrived, he tried to find Jong Bum, but he couldn't. At that time, Jong Bum played in minor league as a first pitcher. He was a good pitcher, but because of his control, he couldn't go to the pro league.
